Members
Cheetah Digital Loyalty Members is the heart of the Cheetah Digital Loyalty Cloud Platform and is where you manage all your consumers – both known members and unknown visitors. Cheetah Digital Loyalty Members consists of a Member Profile storing a member’s attributes and preferences, Member Transactions with a summary of a member’s activity history, and a datastore of the member’s responses to various types of Cheetah Digital Loyalty Content, such as Offers, Challenges, Rewards, and Receipts. In summary, Cheetah Digital Loyalty Members provides a single view of each and every consumer in your loyalty program.
Setting Up Members
Member Program Settings
Use the Program | Program Settings to configure the following settings:
- Visitor Token Secret. Specify the secret key that a web client must use when working with the Visitor Token API.
- Login with Mobile Phone. Specify whether members are allowed to login to the Cheetah Digital Loyalty Cloud Platform with their mobile phone number.
- Member Public Profile Fields. List the Member Attributes to display.
- Last Member ID. Track the Member ID of the last created member. Do not set this value unless explicitly instructed by the Cheetah Digital Loyalty Customer Success Team.
Member Types
The Cheetah Digital Loyalty Cloud Platform supports two member types:
- Member. A consumer who has signed up for the loyalty program and has provided personally identifiable information (PII), such as their name, email address, phone numbers, or address, to your loyalty program.
- Visitor. A consumer who is logged in your loyalty program via tracking information (e.g. a web browser cookie) but who has not yet signed up for the loyalty program.
The Cheetah Digital Loyalty Member APIs provides specialized APIs to authenticate both member types to the Cheetah Digital Loyalty Cloud Platform.
Using The Members Screen
Use the Members | Members screen to manage all your consumers.
Keyboard Enablement
The Cheetah Digital Loyalty Members screen is keyboard-enabled. You can use keyboard shortcut keys to operate many of the functions on the Cheetah Digital Loyalty Members screen, such as:
- Tab Navigation. Use shortcut key combinations to navigate between the sub-tabs (e.g. use CONTROL-OPTION-3 to navigate to the third member sub-tab).
- Invoking Action Buttons. Use shortcut key combinations to invoke action buttons (e.g. use FUNCTION-F to edit member preferences).
- Page Scrolling. Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys, with or without the ALT or OPTION keys, to vertically scroll the web pages (e.g. vertically scroll the Transactions screen)
- Next and Previous Record. Use shortcut key combinations to move to the next and previous member records (e.g. use CONTROL-OPTION-UPARROW and CONTRO-OPTION-DOWNARROW to move to the next and previous member).
Searching and Filtering
The Members screen includes a variety of facilities to make it easy for you to search, filter, and export/import records.
- Searching. Use the Search text box to search records by.
- Filtering. Use the two date text boxes to filter records.
- Export / Import. Use Cheetah Digital Loyalty’s built-in export and import capability to export existing Members to and from .csv files.
Member Attributes
Cheetah Digital Loyalty Members has a comprehensive list of pre-built Member Attributes.
- Name. The full name of the member.
- Status. The status of the member (e.g. Active).
Cheetah Digital Loyalty Member also includes several member attributes that you can currently use to uniquely identify a member:
- Email. The email address of the member.
- Member ID. A unique string that identifies the member within the Cheetah Digital Loyalty Cloud Platform.
- Integration ID. A unique string that identifies the member in a third-party system (e.g. an eCommerce ID).
- Mobile Phone. The mobile phone number for the member.
- Card Id. A unique string on a physical card that identifies the member.
Use the action buttons to initiate work on behalf of a member. The most commonly used action buttons are:
- Edit Profile. Open a dialog to let you edit a member’s profile, such as their name, phone number, address, or communication preferences.

The actions buttons provide shortcuts to the most commonly used actions buttons.
Member Summary
Use the Member | Summary screen to view a condensed summary for one member. This screen includes subsections for:
- Membership. A summary of the member’s membership, including their current tier, current metrics values, and the date the member joined your loyalty program.
- Profile. A summary of the member’s profile, including Date of Birth, Gender, and Contact Information.
- Recent Earn Transactions. A list of the member’s most recent earn transactions, including activity date, activity type, and activity metrics.
- Recent Redeem Transactions. A list of the member’s most recent redeem transactions, including activity date, activity type, and activity metrics.
Member Transactions
Use the Member | Transactions screen to view the activity history for one member. You can:
- Filter. Filter the activity history by activity type, or by start date and end date.
- Export. Export the activity history into a .csv file for viewing and analysis.
- View Detail. Click on the ‘+’ button on the left of each activity to expand and view more details about the activity. In the expanded view, you can see a detail of the activity’s attributes. You can also view details about the metric accruals by metric name, including the metric values before and after the activity.
Member Profile
Use the Member | Profile screen to view all the member attributes and member preferences for one member. The Profile screen is divided into sections, such as:
- Basic Information. Shows the member’s basic, summary information such as member id, full name, birthdate, and gender.
- Address. Shows the member’s address information.
- Membership Summary. Shows the member’s membership summary, including their current tier, current metric values, and date member’s join date.
- Communication Preferences. Show the member’s phone, email, mobile app, SMS and other communication preferences.
- Comments. Show textual comments about the member, entered by marketers or customer support representatives.
You can also click on the View All Attributes button to view all the member’s attributes in one dialog.
Other Member Screens
Use the other Member screens, such as Member | Offers, Member | Challenges, Member | Rewards, to view the Member’s responses to each of those Cheetah Digital Loyalty modules. For example, on the Member | Challenges screen, you can view a Member’s challenge responses, including the response date, challenge type, status, and metric awarded.
