At its core, the Cheetah Digital Loyalty Platform is a metadata driven system. The Program Metadata, authored in the web-based Loyalty Marketing Console, drives all aspects of the program, including: how many and what type of points are used by the program; what types of activities are processed; what member attributes are stored; and what member preferences are captured. More importantly, all Program Metadata is separate from Loyalty Platform code, and is preserved during Loyalty Platform upgrades.
