Offer Details: Responses

Overview

The Responses tab is used to view and manage the Offer Responses for this Offer.

When a Member redeems an Offer, the platform creates a new asset called an Offer Response. The Offer Response contains the details and metadata of the Offer, its current status, and expiration (if it has one). Likewise, if you distribute Certificate Codes to Members, the platform creates an Offer Response that links the Certificate Code to the Member.

The features available on the Responses tab are described below.  

  Searching and Sorting

Search

The search feature allows you to search for a specified text string.  

  1. Optionally, in the search field near the top of the Responses tab, enter the desired text string.

  2. Optionally, use the two date fields to define a range for "created date."

  3. Optionally, from the "Status" drop-down menu, select a Response status (or "Any status").  

  4. Press Enter, or click the search button (magnifying glass icon).

  5. The Responses tab is refreshed to show only the Responses that meet your search criteria. Please note that if you enter multiple search conditions, the platform displays only the Responses that meet ALL criteria.

  6. To remove all search criteria, click the remove button ("X" icon).

Sort

The "Sort" drop-down menu allows you to sort the Responses on a variety of different fields. To sort the list of Responses, select the desired sort option from this menu.

  • Created Date (the default option)

  • Updated Date

  • Transition Date

  • Offer Name

Navigation

Once you've found the desired Response, you can navigate to the following other screens:

  • Click the Member name to navigate to the Member Details screen for that Member.

 

 Set Offer Response Status

Each Offer Response has a status:

  • Submitted. The Member has submitted the Offer Response but it is not yet accepted nor rejected.

  • Approved. The Offer Response has been approved, either manually or automatically with the auto-approve feature.

  • Rejected. The Offer Response has been rejected and is ineligible to receive any prizes. You must manually reject a response. You can add a message to the Member regarding the rejection and give the Member the opportunity to re-submit a response.

  • Returned. The Offer Response has been rejected, but the Member has the opportunity to re-submit a response.

  • Expired: The Offer has expired.

To manually set an Offer Response status:

  1. Optionally search for the desired Offer Response.

  2. From the "Actions" drop-down menu next to the Offer Response, select the desired status.

 

  Post to News Feed

To post a comment:

  1. From the "Action" menu next to the desired item, select "Post to Feed," then select which newsfeed (such as "Main Newsfeed" for example).
