Filter Options for an Activity
Overview
Activities are events that are recorded in the database and that can be used in your Filters. These activities include both system-generated events (such as a "File Import") and recipient-generated events (such as "Link Clicks)".
Each activity type has options and parameters specific to that type (described below in more detail). The basic process for adding an activity to your Filter is as follows:

Open the desired filter and click Edit tab. Open the Dynamic Pane by clicking on the arrows on the right , expand the "Activities & Items" section to see the list of available activity types.

Drag-and-drop the desired activity from the Dynamic Pane onto the Filter workspace. A "Build Criteria" dialog box is displayed, showing all the various options and parameters available for this activity type.

Place a check mark next to the desired Filter option. A new tab is displayed within the dialog box.

Define the parameters for the selected option.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed to define additional Filter options. Each option is organized under its own tab in the dialog box.

The system displays the default name for this activity criteria within the "Filter Name" text field. Optionally, enter a custom name in this field.

Click save criteria. The system closes the dialog box and adds this activity criteria to the current Filter.
If you need to edit the activity Filter options, simply click on the activity criteria within the Filter Workspace. The system displays the "Build Criteria" dialog box again, where you can make changes to the activity options.
