Badge Details

Overview

Badges are a type of Reward, allowing you to recognize and incentivize your Members. Members can view and share their Badges with friends and other Members. The Badge Details screen is used to view and edit information about a single Badge.

Access

To access the Badge Details screen, click on the desired record from the Badges screen.

Navigation links are provided near the top of the Badge Details screen:

The basic properties for the Badge are displayed at the top of the screen in the Header section. The features available within this section are described below.

 View or Edit Badge Properties

To view or edit the properties of the selected Badge:

  1. In the top section of the Badge Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Badge" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Make any necessary changes to the Badge properties.

  3. Click save.

 

 Delete a Badge

To delete the selected Badge:

  1. In the Header section of the Badge Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Badge" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Click delete. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click confirm.  

 

 Set Status and Effectivity Period

To set the status and overall effectivity period and assignees for a Badge:

  1. In the top-right section of the Badge Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Badge" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. From the "Status" drop-down menu, select the desired status value -- Draft, Published, or Archive. 

  3. Make any necessary changes to the Badge's effectivity. The effectivity designates the time frame during which Members can view and earn the Badge. Valid values are:

  • Always: This Badge doesn't expire.

  • Scheduled: Enter a start date and end date, and select the time zone. Optionally, check "Recurring" to use a recurring schedule. Select the desired schedule from the "Recurring Schedule" drop-down menu, or define a new recurring schedule (see below for details on that process).

  1. From the "Assignees" drop-down menu, select one or more users as assignees for this Badge. Choosing an assignee gives ownership, or responsibility, to one or more users in your account.

  2. Click save.

Define a New Recurring ScheduleDefine a New Recurring Schedule

To define a new recurring schedule for this item's effectivity:

  1. From the Recurring Schedule drop down menu, select Enter Schedule. The Repeat pop up window is displayed.

  2. Select a recurrence frequency of Weekly or Monthly from the Frequency drop down menu.

  3. In the text field, enter the interval.

  4. For a Weekly frequency, select one or more days of the week. For example, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  5. For a Monthly frequency, choose one of the following options:

  • Day of month: Select one or more days of the month. Ex: the 15th and the 30th.

  • Day of week: Select one or more days of the week, for each of the four weeks within a month. Ex: the second Wednesday of the month.

  1. Click ok. The system adds the new schedule to the Recurring Schedule drop down menu.
