Reward Details: Advanced

Overview

The Advanced tab for a Reward is used to view and edit a variety of advanced features and options.

The features available on the Advanced tab are described below.

The Advanced tab contains a variety of different features and options, organized into sections. From this screen you can define the following information about a Reward:

  • Limits. Use limits to specify the total maximum submissions for all Members, the maximum submissions for each individual Member, and the minimum amount of time between submissions.

  • Acceptance of Terms: Define legal terms of acceptance.

  • Business Value. Assign a monetary value to a Reward.

  • Message: Define "submission accepted" text, and assign a response Message. 

  • Sharing. Use Sharing to specify how a Member’s response is shared to a News Feed.

  • Placement. Use Placements to specify where the Reward is shown to Members.

  • Static Files. Attach one or more files to the Reward (see below).

To edit the options within a specific section:

  1. Click edit (being sure to click the edit button within the desired section that you want to modify). The "Edit Reward" pop-up window is displayed.

Note: Some fields on this screen (marked by a globe icon) allow you to enter localized content in different languages. See Enter Localized Content below for more details on this process. 

  1. Make any necessary changes to the options displayed within the "Edit Reward" pop-up window.

  2. Click save.

Certain fields on this screen (marked with a globe icon) allow you to enter localized content in different languages. 

Note: The localization feature is an optional feature that must be enabled in your account. Please speak to your Client Services Representative for more details.

To use the localization feature, you must first define the locales that you support. Please see Program Settings for more details on this process. 

To enter localized content:

  1. Click edit (being sure to click the edit button within the desired section that you want to modify). A pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Within the pop-up window, the platform displays a tab for each supported locale; the default language is marked with an asterisk (*). Select the tab for the language you want to enter.

  3. Enter the localized content in the selected language.

  4. Repeat the above steps as needed to select a different locale and enter content in a different language.

  5. Click save.

 

 Attach a Static File

To attach a file to an object:

  1. In the "Static Files" section of the Advanced tab, click attach. The "Add File" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Select the desired file by either of the following methods:

  • Drag-and-drop the file onto the target area within the "Add File" pop-up window.

  • Click the target area within the "Add File" pop-up window. Browse to and select the desired file.

  1. Enter a display name and description of the file.

  2. Click create. The file is added to the list of Static Files.

 

  Edit a Static File

To edit the properties of an existing static file attached to this object:

  1. In the "Static Files" section, from the "Action" drop-down menu, select "Edit." The "Edit File" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Make any necessary changes to the file properties, including uploading a replacement file

Note: If uploading a replacement file, the new file must have the same filename as the existing static file.

  1. Click save.  

 

 Remove a Static File

To remove an existing static file attached to this object:

  1. In the "Static Files" section, from the "Action" drop-down menu, select "Delete." A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  2. Click confirm.
