Member Details: Badges Tab

Overview

The Badges tab displays information about the Badges this Member has achieved.

Badges are a type of Reward that can be assigned to Members for performing Activities, such as completing a certain number of Challenges or opening a certain number of emails, for example. Once a Badge has been assigned to a Member, they can be identified and targeted for Loyalty incentives. For more information on Badges, including how to manage and create them, please see the Badges screen.

Features

The features available on the Badges tab are described below. 

 Searching and Sorting

Search

The search feature allows you to search for a specified text string anywhere within the Badge label, or to search for Badges of a certain level.

  1. Optionally, in the search field, enter the desired text string.

  2. From the "Level" drop-down menu, select a Badge level (or "All levels").  

  3. Press Enter, or click the search button (magnifying glass icon).

  4. The Badges tab is refreshed to show only the Badges that meet your search criteria. Please note that if you enter both a text string and a level, the platform displays only the Badges that meet BOTH criteria.

  5. To remove all search criteria, click the remove button ("X" icon).

Sort

The "Sort" drop-down menu allows you to sort the Badges on a variety of different fields. To sort the list of Badges, select the desired sort option from this menu.

  • Created Date (the default option)

  • Updated Date

  • Member Name

Badge Details

To view additional information about a Badge, optionally search for the Badge as described above, then click on the Badge name. The platforms opens the Badge Details screen in a new browser window.

 

 Grant a Badge

To manually assign a Badge to a Member:

  1. Click grant badge. The "Grant Badge" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. From the "Badge" drop-down menu, select the desired Badge.

  3. In the Level field, select the desired level.

  4. When finished, click save.

 

 Adjust Badge Level

Badges can optionally have multiple levels. To manually change the level for a Member's Badge:

  1. From the "Action" menu next to the desired Badge, select "Edit Level." The "Edit Member Badge" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. From the "Level" drop-down menu, select the desired level.

  3. Click save.

 

 Expire a Badge

To manually expire a Badge:

  1. From the "Action" menu next to the desired Badge, select "Expire." A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  2. Click confirm.  

 

 Post to Newsfeed

To post a comment:

  1. From the "Action" menu next to the desired item, select "Post to Feed," then select which newsfeed (such as "Main Newsfeed" for example).
