Data Links

Overview

The Data Links feature in the EDP allows you to synchronize data from EDP to Cheetah Messaging. If you create or update a Person record in EDP, the platform will send an API message to Cheetah Messaging to create or update the corresponding record in the Messaging database. The Data Link controls the Messaging table that you want to update, which EDP People Attributes and point Metrics to include in the API message, and the mapping between the EDP fields and the Messaging table fields.

Please note the following restrictions when using Data Links:

Note: When you create or edit a Data Link, you must deploy metadata for the changes to take effect. Please see Deployments for more details.

The Cheetah Learning portal provides access to a wide range of training videos on how to use Cheetah Digital's products. Click here to view a training video on how to use Data Links. Please note that you must have a free Cheetah Learning user account in order to access this video.
