Admin Details

Overview

The Admin Details screen displays detailed information about a single user in your client account. From this screen, you can view or edit all the information about the user, including their Role and Business Unit. 

Access

To access the Admin Details screen, click on the desired user from the Admins screen.

Navigation links are provided near the top of the Admin Details screen:

The Admins Details screen provides the following features related to managing EDP user accounts:

 Edit User Properties

To edit the properties of a user account:

  1. In the Header section of the Admin Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Console User" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Optionally change the user's name or email address.

  3. To reset the user's password, enter a pasword in the "Password" field, then enter it again in the "Password Confirmation" field. 

Note: For users who have a Cheetah Messaging account, the above password fields aren't used; password resets are managed through Messaging, and not through EDP. 

  1. Optionally, to enable a Multi Factor Authentication reminder, select "On Next Login" from the "MFA Reminder" drop-down menu.

  2. Select an Effectivity period for this user account:

  • Always: This user account never expires.

  • Scheduled: Enter a start date / time and an end date / time for when this user account is effective. Also select a time zone. 

  1. Check "Corporate" to grant access to the "All Business Units" context. 

  2. Optionally enter a Public Name for this user.

  3. To assign an avatar to this user, click choose file, and browse to and select the desired image file.

  4. From the "Language" drop-down menu, select the user's language setting for the EDP user interface.

  5. From the "Time Zone" drop-down menu, select the user's time zone.

  6. From the "Key Binding Mode" drop-down menu, select the desired option.

  7. Click save.

 

 Delete a User

To delete the selected user:

  1. In the Header section of the Admin Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Console User" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Click delete. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click confirm.  

Note: You can't delete your own account. If you're viewing your own user account, the Delete button isn't displayed.
