Definitions Overview

Overview

The Definitions area of the platform allows you to customize your EDP database based on your business requirements, by creating your own Activity Types, People Attributes, and Metrics.

Access

To access the Definitions area of the platform, select Definitions from the Main Navigation Menu.

Features

The Definitions area of the platform includes the following features. Each of these features is accessible from the Sub-Category Menu.

People Attributes

View, manage, and create the Attributes in your EDP database

Activity Types

View, manage, and create Activity Types to record consumer actions and behaviors. 

Event Types

View, manage, and create Event Types.

Custom Objects

View, manage, and create Custom Object tables. 

External Lists

Create Client-Ready Files containing lists of recipients for Email Campaigns. 

Business Units

Create Business Units to support multiple brands or subsidiaries within a single EDP environment.

Metrics

Manage the Metrics used to track values that can be incremented (or decrimented) by your consumers. 

Helpers

Create and manage Lookup Tables and Member Functions

Personalization Rules

Create and manage the different rules and assets that make up the Decisioning feature in EDP. 

Deployments

Deploy metadata, and edit high-level account properties.
