Classifier Labels
Overview
Classifier Labels are an optional component of the Batch Decisioning feature. This feature is designed to sift through the raw data from your retail website (browsing behavior, product searches, shopping carts, purchases, and so forth), and make it useful and actionable by identifying specific product recommendations unique to each customer.
Classifier Labels are categories used to define content items. Classifier Labels can optionally be assigned to Classifier Rules.
Access
To access the Classifier Labels screen, select Definitions from the Main Navigation Menu, then select Personalization Rules > Classifier Labels from the Sub-Category menu.
Features
The Classifier Labels screen provides the following features:

Search
The search feature allows you to search for
a specified text string anywhere within the Classifier Label's
display name or internal name.

Optionally, in the
search field near the top of Classifier Labels screen,
enter the desired text string.

Press Enter, or click
the search button (magnifying glass icon).

The Classifier Labels
screen is refreshed to show only the Classifier Labels
that meet your search criteria.

To remove all search
criteria, click the remove button ("X" icon).
Sort
The "Sort" drop-down menu allows
you to sort the Classifier Labels on a variety of different
fields. To sort the list of Classifier Labels, select the
desired sort option from this menu.

To create a new Classifier Label:

In the "Enter
Display Name" field, enter the Display Name value
for the new Classifier Label.

Click create.
The "Edit Classifier Label" pop-up window is
displayed.

The "Display Name"
field is populated with the value you entered above; optionally
edit this value.

The "Internal Name" is automatically populated based on the "Display Name" value. This field is uneditable by default. To edit the Internal Name, check edit internal name. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click ok. Edit the Internal Name value.

Optionally, to assign
an image to this Classifier Label, click choose
file, and browse to and select the desired image.

Optionally, in the
"Description" field, enter a description of
the Classifier Rule.

Check "Internal"
if this Classifier Label is for internal use only.

Click save.

To view or edit the details of a Classifier Label:

Search, sort, or filter the Classifier Labels screen as described above.

Click on the desired Classifier Label name. The "Edit Classifier Label" pop-up window is displayed and populated with the properties of this Classifier Label.

Make any necessary changes to the Classifier Label properties.

Click save.

To delete a Classifier Label:

Search, sort, or filter the Classifier Labels screen as described above.

Click on the desired Classifier Label name. The "Edit Classifier Label" pop-up window is displayed and populated with the properties of this Classifier Label.

Click delete. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

Click confirm.
