Business Unit Details

Overview

The Business Unit Details screen provides detailed information about the selected Business Unit.

Access

To access the Business Unit Details screen, click on the desired record from the Business Units screen.

Navigation links are provided near the top of the Business Unit Details screen:

Settings

The basic properties for the Business Unit are displayed at the top of the screen in the Header section. The features available within this section are described below.

 View or Edit Business Unit Properties

To edit the properties of the selected Business Unit:

  1. In the top section of the Business Unit Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Business Unit" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Make any necessary changes to the Business Unit properties. 

  3. Click save.

 

 Delete a Business Unit

To delete a Business Unit:

  1. In the top section of the Business Unit Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Business Unit" pop-up window is displayed. 

  2. Click delete. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click confirm

Definition

The Definition section allows you to define and manage additional details about this Business Unit.

To view or edit additional details of this Business Unit:

  1. Within the "Other Details" section, click edit. The "Edit Business Unit" pop-up window is displayed. 

  2. The Integration ID is used to identify this Business Unit within EDP. The best practice is to enter a value that's meaningful to the client. The "Integration ID" field is uneditable by default. To edit the Integration ID, check edit integration id. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click ok. Edit the Integration ID value.

  3. The Organization ID is intended to map to a Child Customer ID in Cheetah Messaging, for clients who utilize a parent / child hierarchy in Messaging. When Event data from Messaging is imported into EDP, the platform associates the Events with the correct Organization ID. Optionally enter the Organization ID value. 

  4. Optionally enter the Business Unit phone number. 

  5. Optionally enter the Business Unit website URL. 

  6. Optionally, from the "Primary Responsible Admin" drop-down menu, select a user. 

  7. Optionally, in the "Alert Emails" field, enter one or more email addresses to which to send notifications about this Business Unit. 

  8. Optionally, in the "Business Attributes" field, enter the JSON payload for the Attributes for this Business Unit.

  9. Optionally, in the "Custom JSON" field, enter any additional custom JSON parameters. 

  10. Click save
