Activities

Overview

Within EDP, an Activity refers to some action or consumer behavior that the platform is able to capture and track. An Activity contains all of the necessary metadata to describe the action and is stored as part of the consumer record.

The Activities screen allows you to search for specific Activity records.

Access

To access the Activities screen, select Data from the Main Navigation Menu, then select Activities from the Sub-Category menu.

The Activities screen provides the following features related to viewing Activity records:

The Activities screen allows you to define the filter parameters for the Activities you want to view. The filter options are displayed within the panel along the right-hand side of the screen.

The "Member ID" field allows you to filter the list of Activities by consumer. Optionally, in the "Member ID" field, begin typing the name of the desired consumer (minimum of three characters). From the list of matches, select a consumer. Repeat this step as needed to select additional consumers.
The "Activity Type" field allows you to filter the list of Activities by type. The Search field within this menu allows you to enter a text string to seach for an Activity Type. Optionally, click into the "Activity Type" field, and check an Activity Type. Repeat this step as needed to select additional Activity Types.
Optionally, from the "Period" drop-down menu, select a pre-defined date range, such as "Last 1 Month," for example. Or, select "Range," and pick the start date and end date.
Click search. The search results are displayed. The search results show the Activity type, date / time, sub-type, earn type, Member ID, and Label.

Note: If you rerun the search, check refresh to update the results with refreshed data.

Optionally, to view the full API payload for an Activity record, click the plus-sign icon to the left of the record to expand it.
